The first collection

The first collection of prêt-à-porter and accessories includes harem pants, shorts, skirts, dresses, tunics and tops, along with bags, ballerina pumps, sandals and scarves. The mens range consists of shirts and boxer shorts.

Fabrics

Township fabrics are inspired by the vibrant culture of Khayelitsha, a township just outside Cape Town, South Africa.

Each pattern has been authentically created from the branded wall paper inside the shacks (Knorr soup, Cadbury chocolate, Lux soap) to the vibrancy of the community, colours, textures, shapes and patterns. All these elements have come together to form the Township Khayelitsha range of fabrics in Poppy Red, Daphné Blue, SeaGreen, Icy Pink, Lemon Chrome and Bungee cord.

The fabric is available in a fine cotton which can be used for accessories and fashion items and alternatively, in a coarse cotton which can be used for decor purposes.
