Inspiring Women to walk towards Opportunity

A Profile: Who we are

Welcome into the world of Afrique du Sud, Bidonvilles (ASB). It all started back in 1997, when I met the women of Khayelitsha. Listening to them and trying to answer their needs has shaped my life radically since then, and working together we have all been on a journey of positive change.

My aim was to bring economic development and opportunity to women in their own communities and ASB was the starting point and foundation of what has now grown to become a successful model for Enterprise Development.

I invite you to learn a little about that journey and where it has led us.

Nicole-Marie Iresch,
Founder and Chairman
